Cable Management Buying Guide
Choose an under-desk cable tray around the equipment it needs to hold and the space beneath your tabletop. OFIX Furniture offers cable management for workstations and home-office desks in Bangladesh. A tray organises cables and adapters below the work surface; it is different from a tabletop grommet or a powered connection box.
Compare the listed options
Revon Cable Management Tray has a listed adjustable width of 43–74 cm, a height of 19 cm and a depth of 14 cm. Its powder-coated steel body uses a clamp-on mounting arrangement with grip pads. Compare those measurements with the available space under your desk before choosing where it will sit.
What to check before buying
- Measure the clear mounting area, including crossbars, drawers and cable outlets. Ask for the clamp’s supported tabletop thickness; adjustable tray width does not establish clamp compatibility.
- Check the footprint of your power strip and the size of larger adapters. Confirm the supported load and leave access for plugs and the equipment’s required ventilation.
- For a height-adjustable desk, plan the cable route through the full movement range. Leave appropriate slack without allowing cables to catch on the frame or pull on connectors.
Start by grouping the cables and devices you already use. Place frequently accessed connections where you can reach them and avoid crowding the tray. For a multi-desk office, compare the desk edges and frame layouts before assuming one mounting arrangement fits every station.
Frequently asked questions
Does Revon require drilling?
The listed Revon design uses clamps rather than drilled fixings. Confirm that its clamp opening and grip arrangement suit your desktop thickness and edge profile.
Can the tray hold a power strip?
It is described for power strips, adapters and cables. Check the dimensions and obtain the supported load for the supplied version before loading it.
Is a cable tray the same as a grommet?
No. A tray holds and routes items beneath a desk; a grommet provides an opening through the tabletop. The two can be used as parts of one cable plan.
What is the cable tray price in Bangladesh?
See the current Revon product price and selected finish. Confirm the included mounting parts, quantity and delivery charges before ordering.
